The current answer
The WARDOGS map structure places a randomized 2×2 km Control Zone inside a 256 km² battlefield. Three teams contest it, the team with the most players inside scores, and the first to 100 points wins. A moving Hot Zone inside the objective doubles player-count value and cash rewards.

Primary objective
The Control Zone moves the center of gravity
The objective is a randomized area rather than a permanently fixed base. That means distance, transport, forward positions, and the approach to the fight can change from match to match.
Scoring is based on team presence inside the zone. Individual eliminations matter because they change that presence, but the official win condition is reaching 100 points through objective control.
Moving sub-objective
The Hot Zone creates a concentrated risk-reward fight
The Hot Zone moves within the main Control Zone. Players inside count double toward presence and receive double cash rewards, making it a valuable but likely contested position.
The best entry route will depend on the live map, spawn position, vehicle access, and current line-of-sight conditions.
Combined arms
Map decisions extend beyond walking into the circle
- Transport determines how quickly reinforcements return to the objective.
- FOBs and construction can create forward support positions.
- Vehicles and indirect fire affect open routes and defended approaches.
- Destruction can change cover and access during a match.
- Persistent cash makes every transport or vehicle choice a budget risk.
Pre-launch plan
Three maps with three variations each were planned for the start of EA
An August developer video described a planned launch scope of three maps, each with three variations. Final launch content may change.
Detailed map names, spawn points, resource locations, tower rules, and optimal routes are not available before the public Early Access build.
